Father's
Day, June 15th, 2008 for the
9th
Annual Festival of Bands

Staging Area
As
you arrive in Albert Lea, follow Interstate 90 to Exit #157, Bridge
Street. Turn South onto Bridge Avenue and go south approximately 1 mile
to the Hammer Road stop light. At the stop light, turn left (east).
Proceed east past the the football field to 2000 Tiger Lane where you
will find the new High School. Turn left onto Tiger Lane and follow it
around to the front of the school where each band will be welcomed to
the city by two members of the Albert Lea Band Boosters and several
members of the local HOG group (Harley Owners Group). They will show
you where you can take a break, warm up, and prepare your band for the
competition. They will remain with you and escort your band to a second
staging area by the old Senior High School. Your buses will remain here
until the end of the day. From this point your band will be directed to
the final starting place.
