Annual Festival of Bands

Parade Route
The
Seventh Annual Albert Lea Festival of Bands Parade will begin at the
corner of Fountain Street and Broadway Avenue. It will proceed South on
Broadway for about six blocks to Pearl Street. Here the bands will turn
west for one block. The parade will then turn north on Washington
Avenue for five blocks. At Water Street, the bands will turn west for
one block and disband at Central Park. The medical tent will be located
in Central Park if it should be needed. Judging will begin at the
Intersection of Main Street and Broadway. The length of the parade
route is approximately one mile. The Awards ceremony will take place at
Central Park. Pop and refreshments will be served to the band members
upon completion of the parade route.
